Inshore Bite On Fire

Report Date: March 24, 2017

Hey guys and gals the last few weeks have really been on fire!!! The inshore bite has really been outstanding. We had a warm winter so the bite came early this year, The Spanish mackerel started to show up at The end of February and the sheep head started spawning the first week of March, with plenty of nice sized redfish to mix in it has made for some action packed trips, and happy fisherman!!! 😊

as the water warms up the offshore bite should picking up, Cobia have started to show up and there have even been a few king mackerel caught. But for now we will have to settle for a few of these bad boys.

Mixed in with a lot of Vermillion snapper. Red snapper opens on the weekends in may, so if you want to catch the big red ones you better get on the books soon as trips are filling up. Thanks for reading and hope to see you on the water soon!!! Captain Scott
